All who came to our Special
"visit" to Zimbabwe
on Sunday afternoon 18th April at 4 pm
enjoyed a thoroughly delightful late afternoon
the meal was scrumptious
the speaker, Darryl Telfer, opened us
to the work at the KCV orphanage
where almost 100 children
are cared for, educated,
accommodated
in safety

There was a time of sharing and learning about this country
its people ~ its culture ~ its food & music
and God at work in their lives
bountifully

You joined us at the Kersbrook
Church of Christ hall
Main Street, Kersbrook

        

and together
raised 'at-the-door' over $400
to be sent immediately
to provide the 'village'
Khayelihle Children's Village
with funds to deal
with needs

      

An excellent meal was served 'after-the-style-of'
Zimbabwean food, suiting Aussie tastes
starting with juice and dips
from Africa - delicious
then to the main course of hot casseroles of
meats, chicken, a vegetable bake,
salads and
a choice of
Fruity Couscous
Chocolate Mousse


            


Cost for the evening was $10 per adult; $5 per child under 12;
[or maximum $25 per family]
which included the African-style meal

Monies raised was sent off to
Khayelihle Children's Village
a Zimbabwean Orphanage
under the direction of
Churches of Christ Australia
and New Zealand

 You are invited to come to the next "visit"
to another country
