THE AMPHITHEATRE

Located on Ken Maguire Reserve the amphitheatre can comfortably seat 1500. Power is available also a canopy for the stage can be supplied.  The stage area is approximately 5m x 4m.  No lighting, audio equipment or seating is available.

BOOMERANG MAKING
(Leaflet available)

Equipment available includes files and clamps for participants.  You need to supply your own boomerang blanks, paint/boot polish and sandpaper. If sufficient notice is given boomerang blanks can be made for you.  Charges on application.

PUPPETS AND PLAYS

Locations for this activity include:

  • Adventure Play area behind Paxlease House working from under platform, Amphitheatre stage, Douglas Scrub House where Puppeteers can operate from passage through window into central dining/activity area and the 'Quiet Area'- follow the Alec's Gate track the 'Quiet Area' is located on the right hand side just after the Owl's Dell.
